Burnt Sienna Holy Grail is a water based ground for encaustic painting and contains NO acrylic.

Holy Grail is the first gesso made for encaustic art underpainting. One can paint any of the Holy Grail White, Black, or colors as the first layer, before any wax is applied. HG takes about an hour to dry, is non-toxic and rinses out of clothes and brushes even after it has dried.

Colors are intermixable and tint well when mixed with White Holy Grail.

This is a 16 ounce container and will cover 16 square feet with opaque color.
