This is a very hot orange and has proven tremendously useful as a glaze (very thin in medium) in portraits. It's also a brilliant complement to Cobalt Blue. Cadmium Orange Deep is indispensable on a limited palette!

Like all Paint Sticks, you'll want to break off a piece and melt it with at least the same amount of encaustic medium. This will go a long way with a super-heavy pigment load.
